This publication constitutes the refereed court cases of the second one IFIP WG 5.5/SOCOLNET Doctoral convention on Computing, electric and commercial structures, DoCEIS 2011, held in Costa de Caparica, Portugal, in February 2011. The sixty seven revised complete papers have been conscientiously chosen from various submissions. They disguise a large spectrum of subject matters starting from collaborative firm networks to microelectronics. The papers are prepared in topical sections on collaborative networks, service-oriented platforms, computational intelligence, robot platforms, Petri nets, sensorial and perceptional platforms, sensorial structures and determination, sign processing, fault-tolerant platforms, regulate platforms, strength platforms, electric machines, and electronics.
